Do not extract this zip file without scanning it and getting rid of the virii in it.
When extracted there are 4 infected files, and it starts trying to call out right away.

oh @#%$ i just downloaded and installed . i plan on formatting today anyway. but which files do i look for and how do i scan the zip for viruses?

I don't know about Norton to be honest - I've never trusted it.
I use the InoculateIT from CAI and have got rid of the sucker alright.
But, I also had another problem I was trying to solve that was unrelated so ended up reformatting and putting a backup of my OS on.
When you scan you will be looking for 4 files, 3 MIME in emails (one in the root folder, and two more in the other two folders within - and one HTML that finds its way into your IE Internet folder)
To scan, either have real-time scanning enable while downloading, or when you get the file on HDD DO NOT unzip it - left click once to highlight it and then click "File/Scan for Viruses" (most AV's put a command in the shell)
If you can clean all four you should be OK. Make sure you have an internet access blocking firewall or unplug from the net altogether.

THESE ARE THE FILES I FOUND:
3 INSIDE ZIP FILE EXTENSIONS .EML
AND 2 MORE IN THE MAIN PGM CALLED
ImageReady.exe.manifest
PHOTOSHOP.exe.manifest
the 3 inside the file ierased them without unzipping, an the 2 more deleted later and appz work fine
