يوجد إعلان في موقع splutterfish.com عن صدور نسخه جديده من مقبس البرازيل ستكون في متناول الجميع في خريف 2005 , ولكن العرض الحالي ينص على انه اذا قمت بشراء نسخه من الإصدار 1,2 ستحصل مجانا على الإصدار القادم 2.0 من مقبس البرازيل .
