Showter's brand new DVD set is now available! This 22 hour set for 3DS Max covers everything you need to know to create your own character for a game engine of your choosing! Due to the sheer size of this DVD we can't list everything it holds here but the larger topics covered are:
Modelling - Polygon construction of the model from reference images - improve your poly editing skills!
Unwrapping - As well as going through and unwrapping the entire model in full extra items are considered such as pelt mapping for any future use you may find!
Texturing - One of the most important aspects of game models is good texturing, and this DVD guides you through using photoshop from start to finish to create the colour schemes needed for this project.
Exporting and rigging - It's no good having a model if you can't use it! This DVD covers the steps needed to get your model into Doom 3 and Quake 3, as well as a general overview of techniques used for importing models into games yet to be released!
