the one i need in the system 32
i replaced yours with the corrupted file but still can not run the system

I got a message in the beigning of system start saying that there is a problem in this file

can you tell me how can i fix it

thanks mate for the link but I could not fix it, I do not know why, maybe am writing something wrong

I found the solution

I tried everything in toxic15987's articles and too many articles because it is a common error.
anyway, the problem came when I decided to install Ubuntu ( linux System ) and everything was perfect until i restarted
If you open the boot.ini file you will find there is a partition number which is very important to till the system which partition to load from
after i installed the linux, I split my HD to 2 partition but windows could not see this so still looking for partition number 2 which is for the linux, so it could load the ntoskrnl.exe file
so i just opened the boot.ini file and change the partition number to the new number

I do not understand anything from what am saying but i thought it might help anyone has the same problem

this is how to gain more experience

so now I have ubuntu, it looks very nice but I do not know how to install software, I will give it a try
