    Quicktime reference

    Sorry if i'm writing in english but i don't have an Arabic keyboard
    i'm doing a Work for the university In avid media composer and i want to export all my timeline in Quiktime reference to avid for the color correction but for the test i was able to open this file in after effect but i don't know how to import again in Avid,
    ......if somemone can Help me please

    وعليكم السلام أخي ..

    للأسف لم أعمل على برنامج avid media composer أو حتى avid ..

    ولكن وبكل سهولة ، أنت شوف برنامج avid ماذا يقبل من الصيغ ؟؟ يعني dv avi أو غير مضغوط أو أو ...

    وحول الملف من QT إلى الصيغة التي يقبلها برنامج avid ..

    ( مع إني غير مقتنع أن برنامج avid لا يقبل QT ؟؟!! )

      عزيزي تأكد أن ملف الفيديو بعد ما تعمل export من الأفتر لا يحمل أي كود .
      الفورمات الذي يقبله الأفيد من الأفتر هو vedio for windows & Quicktime
      وهناك محبة بين Quicktime و الأفيد أفضل من الصيغ الأخرى

      أسف إذا لم أفهم ماتقصده من سؤالك جيدا.

        I never worked with Avid. But if you have QuickTime Pro you can convert between .mov format and other formats easily

        Open your video in quicktime> Export
        select the codec you want to use. Select one that can be imported in Avid.

          To export it again from After effect you have to "export movie" or ctrl+m or "Make Movie" And be aware to choose a non-compressed format (like lossless or non-compressed QTM) because the MC will compressit again into its native format.

          P.S. YOu dont have Qtm Reference type in After Effects if you were looking for that

            if i need to export it from Avid to QT ref. to burn it in DVD.
            How can i do this and will the final be HQ or it'll lose qulity ?

                thank you very much for your help yes really i'm looking for render out again from after to avid by using QT reference, for saving time but i think that is not supported by after effects so for this case i can render as usual...
