coast distance: This parameter creates a perimeter around the object, where the waves gradually refract by changing their direction and intensity.
This parameter is similar to depth texture in realwave properties, but it is object based and do not use an image; instead it uses geometry.
Texture strength: Each object can contribute to the creation of foam effects through the texture generation. The main texture switch must be enabled previously in the wave surface panel.
Balanced mass: This button calculates the mass of the object that equals the buoyancy forces at that position. The object must be crossing the surface for this option to make sense. It is a fast method to calculate the estimated mass of the object floating at any level.
