MATRIX SENCE part1
1st off, you must download the font. if you do not have the font.
If you don't have the font, you can download the font from 1001fonts.com heres the URLs...

these fonts are freeware and are not made by me. You can find info on the author on a readme file inside the zip.

Now after you have installed the font, open a new image in Photoshop.
any size or DPI will do, mine is 800x500 300dpi
Make sure that the foreground is black and the background is white,
Choose the text typing tool.
Under this tool choose the vertical type tool.
now select the font named electroharmonix from the bar above.
After you have chosen the font, in come the creative part of the tutorial...
...Making sure that the "top align text" button is chosen, create rows of different length and font size
random letters.
After you finish each row, hit the check mark to start another row. It really doesn't matter how dense your
rows are, just make it look full to you.
If you haven't noticed yet, depending on the size of your image you will have anywhere from 10-50 layers ... eek!
Next Flatten your image. Make it all one nice layer to work with.
(Layer------>Flatten Image)
Just like last tutorial.... add Filter-----Artistic----neon Glow
I used 2size -- 25 brightness -- color green of course.
then goto filter----stylize-----glowing edges
i used 1 width --- 6 brightness --- always use 1 smoothness
O GOODNESS!!! PINK? what happened..!?!?! lol don't worry ... this has to deal with
you using a solid font, rather than gray and black grain filter.
Lets get rid of the pink matrix shall we?
Image---- adjustments----- color balance.
Put the Shadows and midtones both in 100+ green.
Poof! no more pink.
and you are DONE!... ENd of tutorial...
..what?... want more? ooo allllright.
well, open a new image up in PS.
Same size as your image your working on now. Now I have 2 - 800x500 300dpi files open.
With the new file, run through old tutorial, creating a matrix without the letters.
When you have the 2nd picture complete (finished the 1st tutorial), choose the marquee tool, rectangle.
highlight the whole image, Copy it to clipboard, and paste onto the matrix with the fonts.
Goto your layers pallet, and choose 50% opacity.
Take your Crop tool, and cut a little off the top of the 1st row of letters.
before you hit the Check to crop, you should be looking at something close to this image.
The reason why I cropped some of each side and some off the top, was to make the image look as
if it was scrolling down the page. Nice huh?
If you haven't yet, save it at this point.
Here are a few different things you can do with my tutorials.
Taking the picture from last step, just added a simple Filter----Blur---radial blur---zoom.
This effect would look awesome if in the center of the matrix screen, you had an actual word written
Yea.. I got a little carried away here. copying layers and using the edit----transform tools you can
put together the final scene from the matrix 1st movie...
Like I say in all my tutorials, I'd just like for you to give me a little credit and Im/Email me if you post
an image on Renderosity. Ill be happy to assist you if you have trouble getting these results, this tutorial
is a lot harder to the Photoshop newbie, than the 1st one, but I had enough emails asking me to show them
how to apply text.
