I'd ask all about if any one knows good schools in any place around us in arabian gulf, even in asia like thailand or singapore or malaysia,,,i mean in asia,,,
OR, you prefer UK schools ..... Do agree with me that the prices are expensive ,,,,,,i need good school and good prices TO Learn MAYA 5 ,,

طبعا هناك العديد من المدارس الممتازة في كنداو أمريكا و لكنها غالية جدا.
أرخص خيار فيما رأيت هو الـ CGC بأستراليا و السنة الدراسية القادمة لدراسة المايا تبدأ في أخر شهر فبراير القادم و السنة التالية لها في شهر سبتمبر 2004 ، مصاريف الدراسة حوالي 13000 دولار أسترالي ، ويمكن تقسيطهم على شهور السنة و الدراسة 12 شهر و المدرسة في سيدني و ملبورن و لكن فرع سيدني هو اللي يدرس فيه الـ overseas students .

و هناك جامعتين في ماليزيا و لكنني لا أذكر عناوين مواقعهم .

بالنسبة للأسعار فهي رهيبة ، يعني أنا حسبت تكلفة الدراسة في "فانكوفر فيلم سكوول" الكندية +المعيشة طوال فترة الدراسة في كندا وجدت أنها ستكلف نحو 40 ألف دولار!!!!!

إن كنت تريد كورس مايا سريع و مكثف جدا فهناك الفصول في معهد "رينيسانس" الذي يدرس فيه "جون بازبي "صاحب موقع "ثري دي باز" و صاحب الدروس الرائعة . كورسات باز مكثفة جدا و سعر الدورة تقريبا في حدود 6 ألاف دولار لمدة شهرين أو ثلاثة.. شاملة المعيشة و كل شئ لأن المدرسة معسكر مغلق .
و الموقع هو www.3dbuzz.com طبعا و ستجد فيه وصلة للمدرسة .
طبعا الخيارات الأمريكية الاخرى كـ gnomon و fullsail مصاريف الدراسة فيها فقط رهيبة هذا غير المعيشة و خاصة gnomon حيث أنها في هوليوود.

Thanks for all these informations, i think i need to go with the short courses , Do we have any school around the Gulf like in arab countries and trust ,,, if you know any thing plz support us....

للأسف لا أعرف عن وجود مدارس في الخليج و لكن بالنسبة لمصر حيث أقيم فهناك كورسات مايا في معهد اسمه YAT و لكنني لا أنصح بها .
هل جربت التعلم الذاتي ؟

maya need one year in order to be familiar with the nature of program

and 3-5 years to master it

ill be in uae soon

and dont mind give u direction with selfstudy

Thanks for all these advises , but as yoiu know we need the advance technologies to implement here in our world ,, but you know i don't need every thing in Maya , biut i need to dynmics and particals also the compsiting and the logos ,, that's it ,, do you thing i need one year to have al;l these things or there is short way to get them ,,

اذا لم تكن تهتم لتصمصم الشخصيات و تحريكها فأظن أن سنة تكفي لتعلم الـ fluids و الـ dynamics و تصميم الأشاء البسيطة كـ logo أو بنايات و مثله.
و يجب أن تفكر أيضا في تعلم بعض برامج الـ compositing أيضا.
لكن لا أظن أن مايا موجه لهذا النوع من الاعمال، و السبب هو ان مايا برنامج مفتوح جدا و يحتاج بعض الوقت لفهم فلسفته العامة.
المشكلة فيه أن الأشاء البسيطة جدا و السهلة لا تجدها فيه عكس البرامج الأخرى. مثلا اذا أردت عمل نص ثلاصي الأبعاد فستحتاج لوقت لعملهـ عكس ما هو متوفر في ماكس من أدوات جاهزة.
مجرد رأي مني، اذا أردت دخول مايا فلا تهمل جانب دون آخر، و اذا أردت أداة لعمل ما ذكرت فاختر برنامج آخر لأن هذا سيختصر عليك الكثير من الوقت.
و اذا احتجت أي مساعدة الاخوة ان شاء الله هنا مستعدين دايما.

did u see the gnomon dvds for dynamics
they have a whole lot of them
u can download them from e-mule
they must give u a strong knowledg about dynamics
and it will save u a lot of time TRUST ME
i didnt see them but i saw other gnomon dvds
my god they save u a lot of time
and about the fluids
u know they r not mainly for lequids
particels r the better way to achive a lequid
and i think that the gnmon dvd wll cover the hell out of particels

six month ago i didnt know what maya was
but with the help of the tuts and vedio tuts
i can move some CVs know

vedio tuts R the BEST And the Fastest way to learn

regarding dynamic
like fluids flame...etc

its not hard to learn but it is time spending
our college advisor recommended us for not get involving in it

why ?

time spending

i think if u only focus on dynamic u come out as dynamic specialist

be a specialist in something
u are good with it

most of comapnies and studios dont care if u are good at everything they care if u are good about something u do<with talent and creative......

so investing ur time in dynamic will led u into world of special effects division

my background is character animation
i will not involve ingoin to dynamic cuz it has nothing to do with character animation but yet knowledge is powerful
the more u know the better odd in ur side

الاختصاص في جزء معين يكون في الاستديوهات أين توجد أقسام لعمل الـ modeling و اخرى للـ rigging و أخرى texturing ... الخ
أما اذا كنت تريد العمل لوحدك أو في فريق صغير فستحتاج لتعلم كثير من الاعمال.
لا توجد قاعدة عامة، فقط هذا يتوقف على أهدافك.
