    اختفاء مجموعة كبيرة من مشاكل العرض في تحديث المايا

    اعمل على مايا 6.5 لم استخدم 7 حتى الان وكانت تواجهني مشاكل كثيرة في ظهور ادوات المينبوليتينج في الفيوبورتس المختلفة وايضا في ال uv editor وهذه المشاكل ظهرت مع كثير من الاعضاء بعدما قمت بتحديث الاصدار الى 6.5.1 اختفت مجموعة كبيرة من مشاكل العرض ولو انها لم تظهر في تقرير تصحيح الاخطاء فمن يواجه مشاكل كما التي ذكرتها يقوم بتجربة التحديث

    ايضا تم اصلاح مشكلة عرض hardware texturing في ال uv texture editor وهذه المشكلة كانت تحدث معي ايضا ولكنها ذكرت في ال release notes

    Scenes with many references and shader bins may load slowly in Maya 6.5, the shader bin updates were being performed after each file finished loading. This update substantially improves file load performance in this case, by doing the update just once after all files have been read.[237583] Maya 6.5P17
    Crash or corruption when opening a scene with references. The corruption noticed was causing extra namespaces to appear: if a scene contained a single reference “ref.ma” in the namespace “ref”, opening the scene and executing ‘namespaceInfo –lon’ might show two namespaces “ref” and “ref1”. There is no well defined workflow to cause this crash, however it has only been known to occur in a scene with references where one or more of the referenced files contain softMods.[235202] Maya 6.5P16
    Fix a regression introduced in 6.5P13 which caused a crash when opening some files. There is no well defined workflow to cause this crash, however the only logged case involved opening a file containing unknown nodes with multi-attributes. This crash can occur in scenes without any references.[235055] Maya 6.5P15
    • When painting skin weights, where the weight of a vertex has been held by a joint, if another joint was added as an influence to that vertex, the vertex would go to the origin if the weight is over 1.[229941]{linux only}
    • Crash when opening a file containing references. There is no well defined workflow for hitting this crash; the only logged case involved connecting attributes on referenced nodes to themselves.[232791]
    • Fixed a problem with opening certain scenes in shaded mode.[233090]
    • Incremental performance improvements when saving a file containing many (tens of thousands) connectAttr and setAttr edits. This change also fixes a regression introduced in 6.5P13.[232357]
    Maya 6.5P14
    Crash when using Isolate Select in a scene containing references. The workflow for hitting this bug is fairly involved, so typically customers who encountered it were not able to pinpoint Isolate Select as the cause. The most common reported symptom was “occasional crashing when working with a scene containing references”.[233849]

    Example:
    1. New file. Create a cube. Save as cube.ma.
    2. New file. Create a sphere. Save as sphere.ma.
    3. New file. Reference cube.ma. Reference sphere.ma.
    4. Unload sphere.ma.
    5. Isolate Select the cube.
    6. Load and unload sphere.ma.
    7. Save as top.ma.
    8. Toggle Isolate Select off.
    9. Load the sphere.
    10. Save... crash
    Maya 6.5P13
    Significant performance improvements when saving a file which contains many setAttr and connectAttr edits (tens of thousands). Noticeable performance improvement when opening such a file.[232357] Maya 6.5P12
    Fixed a problem with paint effects shadows when objects are close to the camera. In the view from the light (used to generate the depth map for the shadows), some polygons close to the camera were not being clipped properly.[233638] Maya 6.5P11
    • Objects pop out of DAG hierarchy in a scene with multiple levels of referencing. In a scene with a reference and a nested reference, this typically occurred if there were non-uniquely named nodes in the reference file, an object from the nested reference was parented underneath an object in the reference, and an object in the reference was parented underneath an object in the main scene. Saving and opening this scene, or unloading/loading the reference, would cause the object in the nested reference to pop out of the DAG hierarchy.[230667]

      Example:
      1. Create a sphere. Save as C.ma.
      2. New file. Reference C.ma.
      3. Group the sphere twice (“group1” and “group2”).
      4. Create a cube and group it. Rename the group to “group1”. There should now be two nodes named “group1”.
      5. Save as B.ma.
      6. New file. Reference B.ma. Group B:group2. Save as A.ma.
      7. Opening A.ma or unloading/loading B.ma will cause B:C:pSphere1 to become ungrouped.
    • Fixed a crash when opening the UV Texture Editor in cases where a shading group had no surfaceShader assigned. The bug appears to have been introduced in Maya 6.5P08, and should not be a problem in previous releases.[231994]
    • Crash when opening a Maya 6.5 file which was created from a file saved prior to Maya 6.5. This typically occurred when a pre-6.5 file was opened and saved in Maya 6.5, under certain circumstances opening the Maya 6.5 version would cause a crash. There is no well defined workflow for causing this crash. The chances of a crash are more likely if the pre-6.5 version of the file was saved in Maya 6.5 before all of its references were loaded, or, after loading all the references, there were still some edits which could not be applied.[231988]
    Maya 6.5P10
    • Crash when saving. This typically occurred when the scene being saved contained two or more references and a node in one reference was connected to a node in another reference. If the reference containing the source node was unloaded, Maya would crash when saving.[229970]

      Example:
      1. Create a sphere. Assign a new blinn shader. Save as sphere.ma.
      2. New file. Create a cube. Save as cube.ma.
      3. New file. Reference sphere.ma. Reference cube.ma.
      4. Assign the referenced blinn shader to the cube.
      5. Unload cube.ma.
      6. Maya will crash on save.

      Note: This is not specific to shading assignments. Any connection between nodes in two different references can trigger the crash.
    • “Could not save file” dialog when saving. This typically occurred after deleting a constraint that was constraining a referenced object.[226157]

      Example:
      1. Create a sphere. Save as sphere.ma.
      2. New file. Reference sphere.ma.
      3. Create a cube and constrain it to the sphere. Save as top.ma.
      4. Open top.ma. Delete the constraint.
      5. Saving will fail with a “Could not save file” dialog.
    • Data loss in scenes containing multiple levels of references created using the Renaming Prefix option. In particular connectAttr and parent edits which were made in a reference and which affected a node in that reference and a node in a lower-level reference were lost. This was also known to happen when opening a file from an earlier (pre-6.5) version of Maya that contained multiple levels of references created using the Renaming Prefix.[229753]

      Example:
      1. Create a sphere. Save as C.ma.
      2. New file. Reference C.ma using the Renaming Prefix option.
      3. Create a cube and parent it to the sphere. Save as B.ma.
      4. New file. Reference B.ma using the Renaming Prefix option.
      5. The cube will no longer be parented to the sphere.
    Maya 6.5P09
    Fixed a problem where MFnDependencyNode::getConnections would sometimes return unconnected plugs.[229686] Maya 6.5P08
    Crash when unloading or saving a file which contains a main scene node parented underneath a referenced node. This only occurred when the full name (i.e. DAG path) of the parent contained hundreds of letters.[228279]

    Example:
    1. Create a sphere, group it fifty (50) times. Save as sphere.ma.
    2. New file. Reference sphere.ma. Create a cube and parent it to sphere:pSphere1.
    3. Maya will crash while saving.
    Maya 6.5P007
    Data loss when importing a file containing references (with Preserve References and Using Namespaces on). In particular some edits (e.g. animation) made from the file being imported to its reference were lost.[227147]

    Example:
    1. Create a sphere. Save as sphere.ma.
    2. New file. Reference sphere.ma. Animate the sphere. Save as ref.ma.
    3. New file. Import ref.ma with Preserve References and Using Namespaces. Save as top.ma.
    4. Open top.ma and the animation on the sphere is now gone.

    If a scene contains nodes with long series of numbers in their names, ‘file –new’ may crash.[224450]

    Example:
    • createNode blinn -n "blinn111111";
      createNode blinn -n "blinn1302654781111111";
      createNode blinn -n "blinn1111";
      createNode blinn -n "blinn13026547411111111";
      file –f –new;
    Maya 6.5P05
    Additional change to avoid crashes involving scrubbing sound. These crashes occurred on Macintosh OS X only, and involved race conditions related to the sequence of operations involving the sound port.[223611] Maya 6.5P04
    Fixed an issue with sound scrubbing crashing when the sound file did not exist or could not be opened.[223611] Maya 6.5P03
    • Additional changes to prevent crashing when scrubbing sound.[223611]
    • When creating a playblast on a subset of the frame range, the sound playback would still begin at the first frame, instead of the first frame of the playblasted range.[223810]

    Fixed a crash during sound scrubbing during playback, by disabling the playback sound during scrubbing (the scrubbing sound can still be heard).[223611]
