i am new in max 3 and i need help

will as i told you i am new in max 3 but i have a copy of max 3 v2 i donot know if there is a new one or not my quation are
1. where can i learn the basic of max 3
2. what do you think i should start with
3.what is the web sit i can learn from
4. do you think i need to download a newer verson of max 3 if yes where
that all i am asking for and i will be thankful for it :-)

everywhere - in this forums or if u want specific book i can provide u but in one condition u'll need a fast modem like asdl or cable
in order to reach my server

man there are alot of sites related to learn from
i dont think u have hard time to find it , anyway here is some cool links

then type relative word of 3d studio max and so on

4. do you think i need to download a newer verson of max 3 if yes where
if u have 3.1 its ok
other wise
if want version 4 and upgrade to 4.2
it will take a lot of time to download cuz its come up with 2 cd's
places to dwonload this version is unknown
