Hi Gemologist
boujou can export its raw feature tracks and its 3D predictions as 2D tracks in a format that Shake can understand. Exporting 3D predictions as 2D tracks has the benefit of giving you tracks that will last for the entire length of the sequence, even if the original feature is hidden behind another object or goes out of shot. boujou three and boujou bullet can also export points and tracks as Shake nodes (Tracker node, MatchMove node, Stabilize node, Corner Pin node).
Shake 4 supports a 3D camera and can import boujou's Maya and XSI exports.
If you have chosen to export the tracks as raw data then they can be loaded into any Shake text field as a raw expression.
1) Right-click on a Parameter (over the text box and not the parameter name).
2) Select Load Expression.
3) Set exprFormat to Raw.
4) Select the boujou track file and select OK.
To export tracks from boujou 2 in the Shake format:
1) Go to File>Advanced>Export Feature Tracks.
2) The Export Tracks dialog will appear. In the Options section choose File Per Track and Separate X/Y.
3) Make sure Clip to Frame is not selected.
4) In the Origin choose Bottom Left.
5) When the tracks are exported they will be named name_auto_###_x.txt and name_auto_###_y.txt. Each file contains a column of frame numbers and a column of X or Y values.
6) Because boujou can create thousands of feature tracks and 3D prediction points it is a good idea to only export the tracks that you really need. Flag the tracks for export by right clicking on them and selecting Flag for Export. In the Export Feature Tracks dialog make sure that you have the Flagged Only option checked
