Class Description
Autodesk 3ds Max 2009 includes several tools that allow architects and engineers to predict the way natural and electrical lighting performs in space. The use of these tools allows designers to evaluate how their design conforms to certain laws and regulations or to apply for Green Building credits. This class will focus on use cases and examples of daylight simulation strategies and lighting simulation reporting. Real world projects will be demonstrated throughout the session.

طالما نظرت الي خامة ink and paint علي انها خامة ساذجة لا جدوى من استخدامها و لكن بعد مشاهده الدرس تغيرت وجهة النظر هذه الي الابد

Class Description
This session explores the use of non-photoreal (NPR) techniques for animation output. Styles include technical illustration renderings using standard 3ds Max shaders. Design visualization models will be explored for engineering and architectural renderings. Some compositing techniques for optimizing your workflow will also be explored using Autodesk compositing solutions. Often, when a client asks for photo real but time or other constraints do not permit it, it can often be beneficial to go a completely different route to eliminate any confusion as to the intent of the artist’s work. NPR looks as well as hard-edge, mechanical looks can easily be achieved using standard 3ds Max shaders and renderers.

Do you need to import a model from AutoCAD® Architecture or Autodesk® Revit® into 3ds Max® to produce presentational renderings and animation? The answer is NO! As long as you are provided with a floor plan and elevations, you can produce a model in 3ds Max from existing linework. I will show you how. On top of that, the model will be more stable considering it's a native Max file, plus you will acknowledge that the rendering times will decrease. From 2D to 3D with ease, use them for creating anything from site plans to architectural models. It's all in the SPLINE!
