هذا مستفز.لا اقصد الاساءة اخواني لكن اذا كان في سبب لاستمرار الموضوع هكذا فليخبرني احد.

i'm sorry samer but you must understand something
this field and all its resources are English

all the users must understand this so if you would like to learn
this field you have to learn first their language.
coz hostly all the resources and (the advanced tutorials) all are
english

so you have two choices
A) go to advanced way...(by their way ...tutorials ...books "ENGLISH")
B) go to amateur way ... by depending on the translated
tutorials (which most of it translated wrong or make you never understand
or make it hard to you....)

so please guys there much much much more that can be talked
about than this
and lets be clear on this
on this forum we will discuss .. search .. challenge on mentalray
we will make researches about alot of mentalray subjects (in english)sites

so lets help each other to learn english (to go very fast in maya
by learning in the advanced way)

*note
i have mentioned before that my keyboard is english only
and i am very baaad in arabic writing

very good
but your shadows seems to me like you make alot of source light
without any softness in shadow
so it makes a lot of shadows
look to the chairs leg's shadows

i used three sources of light, one spot light and tow area light for windows
and i turned on the raytrace shadow for all

there is a very good technique for lighting interior
make an area light
intensity =0
----------------
MENTLRAY tab

-------
use area light=on
samples=64
-------
mentalray light shader >> .....[]
connect physical light to it
in physical light color (this is the intensity of the color now
coz we made the default int. =0)
the physical light is realistic fall of light with a realistic shadow

* try to make an area light and test render
then convert it to mentalray area (use area light option) and do
another test and then add a physical light and test
and see the deference

see the deference and tell me what do you think ..!!

if you want a tutorials for mental ray in English language there is a dozen of it all around internet and we can submit it here , so we can fill the forum by it . if you want to help arab people please write by there mother tong language .

give me one reason to write English in this threat , you will say that the tutorial have been done by English , so what !! , should i write also in English to discuss tutorial with my Arabian friends or any one here .

i have a proposal for you , why don't you join any English forum ,and there are too many of them , there you can try to be in your seck form and write English as much as you want!

This form is Arabic form so we are Arab here, speak and write Arabic therefore stop rumpling around with this type of language since its not funny... show us some respect ! whats wrong with you

*whether you read my thread (with my english keyboard)

*or dont read it because of my keyboard,,,,and look for another
arabic forum!!
